Dr. Manfred Lagemann BDSc (Hons) QLD, MClinDent (Implants) QLDfred

Fred is our new principal Chermside Dentist . In 2013, Steve kindly passed the practice on to Fred, while continuing to work alongside the team until christmas 2015. Fred has been looking after our patients since 2012 and is loved by his patients for his painless dentistry.

Fred is particularly interested in cosmetic and implant dentistry. Fred has completed a post-graduate Masters in Dental Implantology and looks after our patients from the surgical perspective.

Fred has a great interest in many aspects of dentistry and is committed to providing gentle, painless, high quality dental care. To stay up to date with the latest advances in dentistry, he regularly attends seminars and post-graduate courses.
Outside work, Fred enjoys water-sports, keeping up to date with the latest movies and tv shows and catching up with his friends and family.

Dr. Gary Chun BDSc QLDgary

Gary is popular with both patients and staff alike. Gary has been at our practice as a Dentist in Chermside for over 10 years. His calm demeanour and sense of humour is loved by his patients, and especially with the kids. More often than not you will see Gary creating balloons out of gloves for the children. Gary has a particular interest in Sleep Appliances (SomnoMed), Invisible Braces (Invisalign) and providing treatment under Sedation (Happy Gas) for our more anxious patients.

Gary’s experience has led him to become a Dental Clinical Supervisor at the University of Queensland. On his Wednesday’s, Gary takes time away from Chermside and spends his time teaching the current final year UQ dental students.

Outside of work, Gary spends his time with his family, and driving his young soccer star son all around Brisbane every weekend.

 Dr. Andy Tsai BDSc (Hons) QLDdr-andy-tsai

Andy is an absolutely fantastic dentist. Meticulous to a fault, Andy prides himself on providing comprehensive, gentle and lasting dental treatment based on the latest research and techniques. Andy is a great addition to the team due to his sense of humour and knowledge he brings to the group. Andy has worked for years in Townsville, but has recently moved back into Chermside, Brisbane. Andy is also a University of Queensland Dental School Supervisor for the clinics, sharing his breadth and depth of knowledge and experience with the next generation of dentists.

 

Dr. Tim Fong BDSc QLD

Tim is a lovely addition to the team. Tim is a well-rounded general dentist who loves to provide friendly, gentle and professional dental work for all our patients. Tim is experienced in dentistry, having spent time working in both QLD Health and in Brisbane’s Prisons. He can handle any situation with ease and is a fantastic person to have on our team.

Outside of work, Tim is married with no children as yet!

Rebecca McNaught B App HSc Oral Health mrs-rebecca-mcnaught

We are lucky enough to have our own resident hygienist Rebecca. Rebecca has a university degree in oral health therapy, and is specifically trained in all aspects of maintaining a healthy mouth and gums. We ask people to see Rebecca when we feel they need a little extra help with tooth cleaning or super thorough scaling. She is an excellent addition to our practice, and is very popular.

 

Dr. Tony Cheng BDSc QLD dr-tony-cheng3

Tony is our resident medical doctor in training. While not at the hospital or university, Tony helps out our patients on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Tony is well-liked for his larger than life personality and comprehensive approach to your teeth and mouth. He likes his patients to have a lovely experience at each visit while providing quality dental treatment.

 

 

Dr. Jake Samuels BDSc (Hons) QLDdr-jake-samuels

Jake is a valued member of the Chermside Dental team. As a military dentist, Jake has a quiet but well-respected nature with both staff and patients alike. Jake is well known for doing quality dentistry. Jake has a keen interest in root canal therapy and oral surgery. Jake attends many continuing professional development courses, keeping his knowledge up to date. Most recently, Jake returned from a military trip to an area 130km south of Alice Springs, servicing our country’s rural communities.

Jake is currently on leave, with the Australian Army. We look forward to his return in August 2016.
